The billing for Summer Breeze 2011 is now complete with the last bands added to the line-up. Now the running order is available on www.summer-breeze.de. For the first time, this year you can compile and print out your own personal running order!

The 14th edition of Summer Breeze will take place for the sixth time in beautiful Dinkelsbuehl (Germany) from August 18th to 20st, 2011.

Two weeks before the festival starts, the organisers of the Slovenian Metalcamp announced that Black/Death Metal destroyers Belphegor, as well as Swedish Heavy Metal dynamite Steelwing have been added to the line-up.

Belphegor are well-known for their aggressive performance on stage and their mean and ferocious mix of black and death metal with hellish and evil lyrics!

The Finnish/Swedish symphonic metal band Nightwish has been confirmed for next year's edition of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise, which is set to sail from Miami (Florida, USA) to Cayman Islands and back between 23rd and 27th of January 2012. A total of 40 acts will perform on the cruise.

A truly marathon record attempt is being made this summer when music business journalist Greg Parmley will try something never done before: visiting 26 festivals across Europe in just 30 days. And Metalcamp will be a part of the new record.

Travelling on a 1200cc BMW motorcycle (an R1200R Classic) in pursuit of a new world record, Parmley plans to visit 13 countries, travelling over 5,500 miles in the process. He starts at Glastonbury on 24th of June before riding all the way to Croatia and back, returning on 23rd of July.

The organisers of Czech Brutal Assault Festival have announced that the line-up is almost complete. The new bands added are German thrash metal veterans Kreator, one of the most influential and successful European metal bands who will play Brutal Assault for the first time, and French ambient/experimental band Uneven Structure.
